The History of the Corporation
1995
March 1, 1995 is the date when “Development-Yug” run by Sergey Petrovich Ivanov was founded.
It was “Development-Yug” who was the first in Krasnodar to install a brand new for the region system of monolithic-skeleton house building.
1996
Construction of the first object.
Opening of the main office block in the Zipovskaya St., 3, Krasnodar.
1997 -1998
Commission of the first house built by the corporation and called “Semeiny Ochag” (“Hearth and Home”), situated in the Yana Poluyana St.
Construction of the next object (“House for Romantics”) started out. The corporation created its own design bureau lately turned into “Da Vinci” design group.
1999
2 new projects “Vesenny Dom” (“Spring House”) and “Aristocrat” started up in 1999.
The corporation began to create its own traditions – giving names to every object and corporate cleaning days before commissions when all the staff at the head of the president do the cleaning, children’s drawings competitions under the slogan “Let’s make our town beautiful”, and new objects’ presentations.
2000
The corporation arranged the uninterrupted training under the direction of the leading specialists from different fields. Those are the “corporate teacher” Alexander Alexandrovich Lobanov, professor from the International Business School of Russion University of Nations Friendship Valery Leonidovich Musikant, professor from the All-Russian Academy of Foreign Commerce Igor Ivanovich Kretov and others.
September 2000 started with the construction of the group of buildings for the Central control station of the “Russia-Turkey” gas pipeline – the project is called “Goluboy Potok” (“Blue Stream”).
Regarding residential real estate the corporation kicked off the construction of two objects – “Alexander Sergeevich” in the Pushkin St. and “Turgenevsky dvor” in the Turgenev St.
2001
The presentation of “Vesenny Dom” (“Spring House”) took place in May 12, 2001. A new corporate object “Sinyaya Ptitsa” (“Blue Bird”) was launched. Urban occasions became one of the corporate traditions – in October 2001 “Development-Yug” announced a competition for rollers in the Komsomolsky District, took part in the holding of bodybuilding and sport competition “Samson”.
2002
The corporation was considered to be the best in the building sector of Krasnodar according to the results of 2001. A new urban project sports complex “Olymp” started up in March 28, 2002. The presentation of a new apartments house “Aristocrat” was held in May 18. In July S.P. Ivanov joined the rating of the most professional managers of the year according to the data of “Association of Russian Managers” and the publishing house “Kommersant”. A new business unit “Development-Tur” travel agency was established in November 6. “Apartment shops” began to function in new company’s objects.
2003
The corporation got down to the construction of the most large-scale project for the whole history – the housing estate “Novy Gorod” for 600 people in the Yubileiyny district. The company actively elaborated the mortgage lending system, “Dom u ozera” (“House by the lake”), “Vityaz” and “Turgenevsky dvor-2” started up.
2004
irst supplies of up-to-date machinery from Volvo and Liebher were arranged. Mortgage lending mechanism had been popularizing. In 2004 the corporation became the laureate of the nation-wide prize “Russian Creators” in the “Construction Investment” nomination. Houses in “Novy Gorod” were growing, projects of “Dom u roshi” (House by the grove) and “Salut” had been originated.
2005
Client service department commenced its functioning. It coordinates after-sale service of the apartments. The presentation of “Dom u ozera” (“House by the lake”) took place in June 11. The opening of the sports school built by the corporation took place in September 23.
2006
The “Development-Yug” real estate agency – a new subdivision of the company - was established in 2006.“Vityaz”, Liter 1, Liter 15 in “Novy Gorod” were commissioned. The construction of “Dom u ozera” (“House by the lake”), housing estates “Cheremushki”, “Triumph” has been started out. In 2006 the corporation became the winner of the regional contest “Brand of the Year\ EFFIE-2006”. The corporation develops new business lines – drugstore chain, metal-plastic structures production. The number of constructed spaces is 100 000 m2.
2007
The corporation reached the construction volume figure at 140 000 m2 of accommodation spaces. 15 objects of total space 300 000 m2 are under construction. The number of staff is 3 500 people.
2008
According to the annual results the company reached a record figure in point of constructed spaces – 190 000 m2. The staff amounted to 4 500 people. This year was marked for ‘‘Development-Yug’’ with the attainment up to federal level – the company won the complex site development license at a February auction in Perm. The presentation of the house “Liter 12A” in the housing estate “Novy Gorod” took place in June. In July the company took rank “The Leader of the Building Sector in the Krasnodar Region”. September resulted in a successful performance of the corporation on the International Economic Forum Sochi-2008 and signing of series of major agreements. The president of the corporation Sergey Ivanov was rewarded with the title “The Doer of Krasnodar” for the considerable contribution to the development of Krasnodar and active social stand. New houses Liter 1 of the housing estate “Cheremushki” and Liter 10 of “Novy Gorod” were commissioned one by one. The major event of the year was the opening of a new 16-floor corporate office, as well as the launch of small-size apartments and Smart studios on the market, also opening of 2 demo apartments and mortgage prolongation up to 4 years.
