The “Development-Yug” corporation adopts an active social position. Charity, support of the destitute, collaboration with the civil organizations, active participation in the municipal programs, city improvement, categorical assistance – all this is an integral part of the company’s activity. One of the symbols of public recognition is the reward “The Doer of Krasnodar” awarded to the president of the corporation Sergey Petrovich Ivanov at 2008.

Construction of socially significant facilities
In 2007 “Development-Yug” built a new school #101 in the Yubileiny district of Krasnodar. The building fits 550 pupils. The school has 26 classrooms, 2 gyms, 2 computer classes, cafeteria, big school hall, library and reading hall. It also has treatment room and dental surgery.
“Development-Yug” built a sports school for 400 people in the Komsomolsky district of Krasnodar. A spacious gym, training rooms, spacious changing rooms and shower rooms create perfect conditions for physical activity, physical growth and development.
At the instance of the Belozerny settlement dwellers the corporation made appropriation to put the monument to the hero of the Great Patriotic War S.L. Breus. Stepan Lavrentievich Breus used to be a gunfire commander during the war and fell in battle in the environs of Kishinev. Alone he had annihilated 13 enemy armored carriers, later he was rewarded by the title of the USSR Hero. He became the honorary freeman of Krasnodar. Today the monument to the hero adorns the central park path of the settlement.
Patronage under the children’s home in Ladozhskaya stanitsa
The corporation regularly transfers money to support the children’s house, buys cloths, toys, sports goods, sweetie and fruits for kids.
Support for the students and institutes of higher education. Over the time the corporation assists the students of the building majors and awards grants for lecturers. In this regard special agreements with the management of the Kuban State Agricultural University and the Kuban State Technological University have been signed. In 2007 “Development-Yug” granted the additions to the scholarship of 5 students from the Agricultural and 2 students from the Technological Universities. 120 best students have been invited for a practical training in the corporation with a possible further job placement.
Construction of the Svyato-Dukhov Temple (the Holy Spirit Temple)
“Development-Yug” took active part in the construction of the Svyato-Dukhov Temple in Krasnodar which is the first one in the Komsomolsky district where there are over 1 000 orthodox believers. Today they all are the temple members. For this work of mercy the corporation assigned not only money but construction machinery and materials.
We say YES to sport!
The corporation stands up for a healthy life-style and sport. It arranges and sponsors different sports competitions. On the corporation’s initiative children’s chess tournament with a hundred young chess players was held, as well as tennis competition, judo tournament and some other events.
